Hi! My name is Hazel and I’ve been instructing fitness classes for over 10 years in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I first fell in love with fitness when I stumbled into a Zumba class I found on Kijiji back in 2010. I never liked working out so when I discovered Zumba, I was hooked. I love Zumba for the music, the easy to follow moves and how it truly feels like exercise in disguise.
Over the years, my passion for Zumba grew and it peaked my interest to try other types of group fitness. I was determined to be an instructor myself and share my love for fitness with others. I immediately grew to love the community and accountability aspect of what group fitness truly provides and is now something I can’t see myself living without.
My goal is to make working out fun for everybody and every body. I’m always finding new ways to make each of my classes enjoyable yet challenging for all fitness levels. I continuously strive to motivate others to reach their fitness goals through Zumba and more. I hope to be as inspirational as the fitness instructors I have met and been influenced by that brought me where I am today.

Talked to Hazel about my limitation and she walked me thru what to expect and since the first class is free I had nothing to lose so I tried it. I enjoyed it so much I’ve bought the 10 class pass. The combination of dancing to good music, hand weights and aerobics gives you a fun workout. The classes are a good size but you don’t feel crowded and I am able to adjust the moves for my knee and not lose out on a good workout. Thank you Hazel for a great routine.”
